🔄 Mefzy Return and Refund Policy

At Mefzy, we stand behind the quality and edge of our curated collections. We understand that sometimes a piece just doesn’t hit the same way at home. This policy outlines the guidelines for returning merchandise for a refund, exchange, or store credit.

1. Eligibility for Returns

To be eligible for a return, your item must meet all the following criteria:

  • Timeline: The item must be requested for return within 14 calendar days of the original delivery date.
  • Condition: The item must be in the exact same condition that you received it: unworn, unwashed, unused, and free from any odors (including perfume, smoke, or pet scents).
  • Original Packaging: The item must be returned in its original packaging, including any protective plastic and dust bags.
  • Tags: All original tags, labels, and security seals must still be attached and intact. Items returned without original tags will be refused.
  • Proof of Purchase: You must provide the original order number or proof of purchase.

⚠️ Non-Returnable Items (Final Sale)

The following items are considered FINAL SALE and cannot be returned or exchanged for any reason:

  • Items marked as “Final Sale” or “Clearance.”
  • Undergarments, lingerie, or swimwear (for hygiene reasons).
  • Jewelry, earrings, and certain accessories.
  • Any item where the protective seal or hygiene liner has been removed.
  • Gift cards.

2. Return Process

A. Initiation

  1. To initiate a return, you must email our support team at support@mefzy.com within the 14-day window.
  2. In the email, include your Order Number, the Item(s) you wish to return, and the Reason for the return.
  3. We will review your request and, if approved, issue you a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number and detailed shipping instructions.

B. Shipping the Return

  • Customer Responsibility: Unless the item is defective or an error was made by Mefzy, the customer is responsible for all return shipping costs.
  • Tracking: We highly recommend using a trackable shipping service and purchasing shipping insurance. Mefzy is not responsible for returns lost or damaged in transit.
  • Packaging: Returns must be securely packaged to prevent damage during transit. Any item returned damaged due to inadequate packaging may be refused or incur a deduction from the refund.

3. Refunds and Processing

A. Inspection and Approval

Once your return is received, our quality control team will inspect the item to ensure it meets all the eligibility criteria (Section 1).

  • If the item is approved, the refund process will begin.
  • If the item is rejected (e.g., worn, stained, tags missing, past the deadline), we will notify you. The rejected item can be returned to you at your expense.

B. Refund Timing

  • Refunds are typically processed within 7 to 10 business days after the return inspection is completed.
  • The refund will be issued to the original method of payment (e.g., the credit card or PayPal account used for the purchase).
  • Please note that your bank or credit card company may take an additional 3–5 business days to post the credit to your account.
  • Original shipping costs are non-refundable unless the return is a result of a Mefzy error or a defective product.

C. Exchanges

If you wish to exchange an item for a different size or color, please follow the standard return process (Section 2) for the original item, and place a new, separate order for the desired item. This ensures the fastest service and availability of the replacement product.

4. Defective or Incorrect Items

If you received a product that is defective, damaged upon arrival, or if we sent you the wrong item:

  1. You must notify us immediately (within 48 hours of delivery) at help@mefzy.com.
  2. Provide your Order Number and clear photographic evidence of the defect or the incorrect item.
  3. Upon verification, Mefzy will cover all costs associated with the return shipping and either issue a full refund or send a replacement item (subject to availability).
  4. Defective items must still be returned with all original tags attached.
Additional Protection

Claims submitted after 48 hours may be denied.
Items damaged through wear or misuse are not considered defective.

 5. Late or Missing Refunds

If you haven’t received a refund after the stated timeline:

  1. Check your bank account again.
  2. Contact your credit card provider — processing may take additional time.
  3. Contact your bank.
  4. If you have done all of the above and still have not received the refund, contact us at support@mefzy.com.
6. Unauthorized Chargebacks

If you file a chargeback while a return is still being processed:

• Your refund may be delayed.
• Your account may be suspended.
• We may dispute the chargeback with evidence of delivery and policy compliance.
